Account, Credits, and Top-ups
One account across all three platforms, three separate credit types deducted on action, with both prepaid plans and pay-as-you-go.
Kuaimian links Web, Desktop, and Mobile under a single account: log in on any one of them, and your resumes, mock interview records, and remaining credits all sync across devices — no need to register again or migrate anything by hand. This article explains how credits are categorized, which actions deduct them, and the difference between the two payment methods.
One account, all three platforms
Register and log in with your phone number or email. The same account shares one pool of credits and data across Web and Desktop: the sessions you bought on Web are immediately usable when running Interview Copilot on Desktop. For the overall relationship between accounts and credits, see Core Concepts.
Three credit types, each on its own
Kuaimian splits consumable resources into three kinds of "counts" that aren't interchangeable — each is deducted by the action that triggers it:
| Credit type | Corresponding feature | When it's deducted |
|---|---|---|
| Interview sessions | AI Interview Copilot (Desktop) | 1 session per real-time interview-copilot session started; no time limit per session |
| Coding-test counts | Coding-Test Assist (Desktop) | Per question; 1 question deducted per coding-test assist started |
| Mock interview counts | AI Mock Interview (Web) | 1 count per mock interview started |
AI Resume is free to use throughout and consumes no credits.
When you start an action, the system deducts the matching free count first; only when that count reaches 0 does it switch to charging your wallet balance by usage (see below).
Free credits for new users
New users automatically receive a free trial pack on registration — a little of all three credit types, credited automatically with no payment required, enough to run through the entire flow before deciding whether to pay. Free credits are also shared across devices.
Two payment methods: prepaid plans vs. pay-as-you-go
When you're low on credits, there are two paths — choose as needed:
- Prepaid plans: Buy a bundle of multiple counts at once, at a lower unit price and better value. Counts in the bundle don't expire — ideal for those who know they'll use the service intensively.
- Pay-as-you-go: Skip the plan and just top up your wallet balance, charged precisely per "session / count / question." Once free counts run out, starting an action automatically deducts that resource's unit price from your balance — flexible, pay for exactly what you use.
Exact pricing is configured centrally in the admin backend; the landing page's pricing section and the in-app top-up center read from the same source, so the live page display is authoritative. Both balance and bundled counts never expire. Alipay and WeChat Pay are supported.
How to top up
All three platforms use the same top-up dialog, for a consistent experience:
- Open top-up from the user menu or the top-up entry point.
- Choose a plan, or choose "Top up wallet" to add balance by amount tier.
- Pick a payment method (balance / WeChat / Alipay QR code) and complete the payment — credited instantly.
When both a given count type and your balance are insufficient to start, the system pops up a quick top-up for that resource the moment you click "Start." Top up and continue right away — no need to break your flow and navigate elsewhere.
About deductions and refunds
- Credits are deducted instantly upon a successful start — once an interview-copilot session, a coding-test question, or a mock interview is started, it's considered consumed.
- Consumed counts are non-refundable, so confirm the job, permissions, and other prep are in place before starting for real.
- Wallet balance and counts within plans are valid long-term and never expire.
If credits appear out of sync, a top-up hasn't been credited, or similar, see Troubleshooting.
